The Board of Directors shall consist of elected and appointed
officers, the Immediate Past Chairman, six (6) Directors at large,
and the Vice Presidents of both nursing student organizations.
Additionally, the Executive Committee shall consist of the elected
and appointed officers and the Nominating Committee Chairperson.
Terms of office for officers begin on January 1 by election or
by appointment for the balance of the term. Elected or appointed
officers may only serve for 2 consecutive two-year terms in office.
The Board of Directors shall hold not less than
two regular meetings each year. The Nursing Chapter operates exclusively
to support the purposes of the College of Nursing at The University
of Texas at Tyler , and abides by rules of UT System, The University
of Texas at Tyler, The University of Texas at Tyler Alumni Association,
and the College of Nursing.
